Capitol Improvement Fee
The LWEPOA has a Capitol Improvement Fee. This is a one time transfer fee due at closing to the LWEPOA.
THE LWEPOA REQUIRES THE PURCHASE OF A RESALE CERTIFICATE AND WAIVER OF RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL WHEN YOU HAVE A BUYER. THE ACT 180 LAW GOVERNING THE C.I.F. ALLOWS US TO DO SO. IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A RESALE CERTIFICATE, A REQUEST FOR RESALE MUST BE FILLED OUT AND RETURNED TO THE ASSOCIATION OFFICE. ONCE THE REQUEST HAS BEEN RECEIVED, AND THE $75.00 FEE PAID, THE ASSOCIATION OFFICE HAS A TEN DAY PERIOD IN WHICH TO COMPLETE THE CERTIFICATE.

When you purchase property in Lake Wallenpaupack Estates, please bring a copy of your deed into the office. It does not have to be a recorded copy. When you do stop in you will need to identify and register your vehicles in order to be issued your numbered LWEPOA vehicle sticker. Please bring your vehicle registration and proof of insurance with you.
